Buffets & Meal Formats

Meal format
Members arrive 7pm for intros until sitting at 7.30pm. members sit man, woman, man, woman around the tables and men move tables between the courses. This is a great ice-breaker before the party starts and a very relaxed way to meet other members.

Buffet or meal following speed dating
It's possible to book for the buffet or meal/party separately if members do not wish to speed date beforehand. This also applies if members would rather not participate in the lock & key.

This is still a good introduction service before the party commences. Many members who work Saturdays find it difficult to get to the venue by 7/7.30pm but 8.30pm for the meal is possible.

If you come at 8.15pm you can catch the tail end of the speed dating and decide if you'd like to participate at another event. There is a free seating plan for these events so members can sit with whoever they wish after the initial introductions.

After the meal our diners will be ready to slip into party mode which starts from 9.30pm onwards, when our other single party only members start to arrive. The earlier part of the evening is a great ice-breaker before the party starts.
